Before you start, you need:
- A WooCommerce store on WordPress 6.5 or later, with WooCommerce 8.0 or later and PHP 7.4 or later.
- A WordPress login as an administrator.
- A Seyaq account. If you don't have one yet, choose a plan on the Seyaq – AI Shopping Assistant page, then create it with Google or with your email.
Seyaq – AI Shopping Assistant is an AI chat assistant on your own WooCommerce store. It answers shoppers from your products and the store information you publish, compares products, and adds to the cart when the shopper taps the add button on a product or confirms in the chat. Shoppers can also search with a photo or send a voice message. You run it from the Seyaq Assistant menu in WordPress; plans and invoices are on your Seyaq account.
Set it up in five steps#
Install the plugin
In WordPress admin → Plugins → Add Plugin, search for Seyaq – AI Shopping Assistant, press Install Now, then Activate. Seyaq Assistant appears in the WordPress menu. Or download it from Store subscriptions with Download the plugin and choose Upload Plugin on the same screen.
Connect your store
Open Seyaq Assistant → Overview and press Connect store. On seyaq.ai, sign in with the account that will own this store's subscription and press Connect and return to WordPress. Back in WordPress, your products start syncing.
Add your store information
In Store information, publish the pages or answers the assistant may use: Teach the assistant about your store.
Customize the assistant, then publish
In Assistant, change what you like, then press Preview on your store to try it on your storefront, or Save as draft to finish later. Shoppers see it once you press Publish.

Once the first product sync has finished, the store's owner presses Start free trial on the Account tab, or chooses a plan on Store subscriptions. The assistant then answers shoppers on your store.
Follow the setup checklist#
Until setup is done, the Overview lists the six steps — connect your store, sync your products, add your store information, customize the assistant, start your trial or choose a plan, and turn the assistant on — with how many are done and a button for the next one. The last step is done with the button at the top of the page.
See what the assistant sells#
Once it runs, the Overview shows everything for the last 7, 30 or 90 days: conversations, assisted orders and revenue, average order value, conversion rate and items added to cart, a day-by-day chart, what shoppers ask, suggestions you can act on, the top products, how shoppers use the assistant step by step, the questions it could not answer and searches with no matching product, cart changes that did not go through, shopper requests and the help offered next to the button. Your plan, usage, product catalog and connection are on the Account tab.
What your store needs#
| Software | Minimum version |
|---|---|
| WordPress | 7.0 |
