Before you start, you need:

  • An active Seyaq plan, with the store set up for Shopify.
  • Your store's permanent address, the one ending in myshopify.com. You'll find it in Shopify admin → Settings → Domains.
  • A Shopify login that can approve apps for the store, such as the store owner's.

Seyaq connects to each Shopify store through its own private Seyaq app. Connecting takes two short visits: the first to give us your store address, and the second, once your app is ready, to approve it.

  1. Enter your myshopify.com address

    On the Connect store page

  2. We prepare your private app

Usually within one business day — you get an email

  3. Connect and approve

In Shopify, with access to products only

  4. Products sync

Changes arrive within minutes, plus a full sync every day

  5. First audit scheduled

Automatically, once the first sync finishes

Connect in four steps#

  1. Enter your myshopify.com address on the Connect store page

Open the Connect store page from the sidebar. Type the address that ends in myshopify.com, not your own domain, then press Save store address.

  2. Wait for the email that says your Seyaq app is ready

We prepare a private Seyaq app for your store, usually within one business day. Until then, the page shows that your app is being prepared. There's nothing else to do.

  3. Press Connect Shopify and approve the access in Shopify

Shopify opens its own approval screen. Approve it. Seyaq reads your products and their translations, and may add one redirect so that /llms.txt (a summary file for AI tools) on your domain opens your Seyaq file. It never reads orders, customers or payments. You then return to the Connect store page automatically.

  4. Let the first sync finish

Products, prices, stock and their Arabic and English translations start syncing straight away. When the page confirms that the store is connected, you're done. To pull everything again later, press Sync products.

What Seyaq takes from Shopify#

  • Product names and descriptions, plus their Arabic and English translations when your store has them. Seyaq never translates them.
  • Prices (the lowest price of a variant in stock), stock for each variant, and up to 10 images.
  • The product type or Shopify category as the category, the vendor as the brand, and the product's page on your store, where shoppers complete the purchase.
  • Draft and archived products, and products not on your Online Store, stay hidden from AI assistants.

Finish on the Store tools page: two one-click switches#

Connecting brings your catalog into Seyaq. To put your product information on your own storefront too, open the Store tools page from the sidebar:

  • Press Open the theme editor. In the Shopify theme editor → App embeds, turn Seyaq on and press Save. This one switch adds Seyaq to every page of your store, with no code.
  • Press Add the /llms.txt redirect. This one click makes your-store.com/llms.txt open your Seyaq file.
  • Once the first sync has finished, press Verify now in the Verify installation section to confirm that your product data appears on your storefront. Seyaq repeats the check every day.

What happens next#

  • Product changes in Shopify reach Seyaq within minutes, and a full sync runs every day to catch anything missed.
  • Once the first sync completes, Seyaq prepares your tracked shopping questions from your catalog and starts your first audit automatically. To review this setup any time, press Audit settings on the Visibility reports page.
  • Your score, competitors and priorities appear on your dashboard after that audit. See Read your dashboard.

If something doesn't work#
